INFORMATION FOR DANCE SCHOOLS
PHOTOGRAPHY DURING CLASS TIME
Our in-class photo sessions are a lovely keepsake for families and a fun way to celebrate everything that makes your classes special.
Photos are taken during the usual class time, so there’s no need for extra scheduling or disruption. We bring a compact backdrop and professional lighting setup and arrive early to set everything up. If space allows, we work within the same room as the class, helping children feel comfortable and relaxed.
HOW THE SESSION WORKS
Each dancer is photographed individually before jumping straight back into class. It usually takes around 5–7 minutes per child, and we are happy to take longer with reluctant children. We allow more time for siblings so we can photograph them individually and together.
We follow the teacher’s lead for the order and keep things calm and fun. If a child isn’t in the mood, we simply try again at the end - there’s no pressure. Parents are welcome to help behind the camera with younger children.
AFTER THE SESSION
We sort and edit the photographs, usually giving parents around 20–30 images of their child to choose from.
You’ll receive a private gallery to double-check names and photographs before access details are sent to parents. Each child's album is uniquely password-protected. Families can then view and purchase digital downloads, prints and packages directly from us.
There’s no administration or order handling for the dance school. There is no cost to the dance school.
